We hebben zoveel ukkies in ons Foodstep project rondlopen, dat we maar zelf een kleuterschooltje begonnen zijn. Eén die tevens openstaat voor de kinderen uit de gemeenschap.
Dus 30 kleintjes worden in de voormiddag onderwezen door onze gediplomeerde juffen. Het is een beetje kunst en vliegwerk, maar daar zijn kleuterleidsters sterk in en het loopt wonderwel. We hebben zelfs een ouder meisje , die een opleiding snit en naad volgde, bereidwillig gevonden om prachtige uniformpjes te maken. Zo schattig!
Door de sponsering van de wandelclub uit Herent (Belgie) konden we mooie fleurige tafeltjes en stoeltjes aankopen. Nu nog wat vrijwilligers die een kleurtje op de muren komen zetten en we zitten goed de komende tijd! Uiteraard zijn alle potloden, schaartjes, gekleurd papier en zelfs enthousiaste kleuterleidsters van harte welkom! Mocht u ons schooltje met uw schooltje in Belgie of Nederland willen sponseren, vraag dan via de e-mail ons dossier aan. Vele kleintjes kunnen alleen maar naar school omdat er iemand in Belgie of Nederland een groot hart toonde voor onze ukkies!

We have so many little children in our Foodstep Project that we’ve decided to start our own Nursery School. One that is also open for the children of the community.
So every morning 30 toddlers are taught by our professional teachers. The beginning is always difficult and it is all arts & acrobatics but that is one of the talents of nursery school teachers so it is going quite well! An older girl, who learns to be a seamstress, made all the beautiful school uniforms. So cute!
Thanks to the donation of a walking club from Herent (Belgium) we were able to buy all the nice and colorful tables and chairs. Now we only need some volunteers who can give the walls a nice color and we are settled for the coming years! Of course all pencils, scissors, colored paper and even enthusiastic nursery school teachers are more than welcome!
