Op 1 april (geen grap!) liepen onze kinderen mee met de FunRun (5 en 10 kilometer) van de Internationale School in Kampala. We kaapten 5 medailles weg. Maar bovenal werd Foodstep samen met nog 3 andere projecten dit jaar uigekozen als sponserproject.
Op 24 mei werd officieel de cheque overhandigd in ons Foodstep Home. Sponsers zoals Stanbic Bank, Roofings, MTN en ook de pers waren voltallig aanwezig. Onze “atleten” waren er ook bij.
Met een hapje en een drankje sloten we de dag dolgelukkig af. Met de 4.000 euro willen we graag ons (tandartsen)kliniekje oprichten voor de gemeenschap. Ook medische hulp met professionele verpleegsters en artsen zullen ons wekelijks naar Kampiringisa vergezellen.

On the first of April (no that is not a joke) our children were running the FunRun (5 and 10 kilometers) of the International School in Kampala. We took 5 medals home. But most of all, Foodstep, together with 3 other projects, was chosen this year as a sponsor project.
On the 24th of May the check was officially handed over at our Foodstep Home. Sponsors like Stanbic Bank, Roofings, MTN and also the press were present. Also our “athletes” were there.
We closed the day overjoyed with a drink and a bite. With the 4,000 euro we want to start our (dental)clinic for the community. But also medical help with professional nurses and doctors will accompany us weekly to Kampiringisa.
